Hombo Brewery
Here in the southwestern part of the Satsuma peninsula, “Tsunuki”, the Honbo Brewery was born. It has been passionate about making whiskey for more than a half-century.
Ever since the beginning, it has had all the essentials, water, temperature, humidity, climate, and the skill to realize the miracles that all whiskey makers dream of.
Its tenacious belief in the power of a spirit aged in a barrel has brought to us “HHAE”, it’s own limited edition whisky. It, in addition to Shochu, can be tasted in the company’s presidential house, the elegant historical home beside the distillery in which its second president was born. The long-awaited Tsunuki (Single Malt) will be ready in 2020.
