The Ocean of Minamisatsuma is located at the southernmost reach of the city. Its variety of tropical fish are waiting to swim all around you. Everyone can enjoy it, beginners and novices alike.

There are various types of bicycles, including but not limited to, electric, cyclo-cross and road bicycles. You can ride along the sea, through the scenic rural areas, and the central city which preserves a historical Samurai residence.
Be sure to get a cycling map for your convenience! There are instructors available upon your request who can insure a safe riding experience for adults, children, beginners and novices alike.

Play in the sea!
Choose among various watercrafts such as canoes, yachts, saps and sailboards. Interested parties can request a guided tour when making reservations. (Reservations should be made at least one week in advance.)

Compete in an auction! You can win!
You can bid on freshly caught fish and learn how to cook it. You can also make an original seafood rice bowl that is the only one of its kind in the world. Cooking instruction is available in English and Mandarin.

Wouldn’t you like to make history at a traditional brewery in the birthplace of Japanese Shochu! Here you can make and apply your very own label to your bottle of Shochu to commemorate your visit.
